Heraclitus Duck (Reproduction)

Heraclitus Duck (Reproduction)

Handwritten into a single line drawing of this serene duck are the words of ancient Greek philosopher Heraclitus, "You can never step into the same river twice; for new waters are always flowing onto you." Next to the artist's initials is the number 8, indicating that the full quote was written eight times into the outline and textures of the artwork.  This is a 3.5" x 5.5"  archival digital reproduction of the original with no changes from the original size -- meaning as tiny as the words are was how it was written by hand!  Matted to fit 8" x 10" frame.
